Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift (7:00am – 7:00pm) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will follow established nursing models and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active TX RN license (or compact), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and preferred acute-care hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification required and issued by ARC or AHA.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, document care.
• Provide prompt, proactive care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up.

Education

Associate's Degree

BSN within 24 months of hire

TX RN license or compact license

BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)

ACLS (within 6 months)

Acute care hospital experience (preferred)
