Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate's degree required; BSN within 24 months of hire.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Prior acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift; report changes.
• Administer medications and document care; monitor response.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
