Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) for a PRN role at our Connecticut community. You will conduct assessments, manage medications, contribute to care plans, and document nursing activities under the supervision of the Resident Care Director.

The position offers a pay rate of $34 per hour, with 3-4 shifts per month and coverage for upcoming vacations. Ideal candidates hold an active RN or LPN license, CPR/first aid certification, and at least one year of geriatric

Qualificações

• Holds an unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Proficiency in medication administration and nursing practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience, preferably in geriatric settings.

Responsabilidades

• Prioritize resident and family satisfaction by treating everyone as a valued customer.
• Ensure compliance with Federal and State policies governing resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, maintaining detailed records.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants.
• Promptly report changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Director.
• Support residents based on their care plans.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure resident safety.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and training to maintain licensure.
