Job summary

Elara Caring seeks a Registered Nurse Home Health to join our team in Covington, LA. You will deliver high-quality nursing care in patients' homes, following the plan of care and physician orders, while safeguarding privacy and reporting changes to the care team.

The role emphasizes patient education, ongoing assessments, and timely actions when conditions change, contributing to safe, continuous care within the home health setting.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Certificate, Diploma, Associate or BSN).
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes.

• Protect patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA.

As a Registered Nurse Home Health , you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:

What is Required?

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited Certificate, Diploma, Associates or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.
