Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an RN Float for PRN Night shifts in the Austin area. You will coordinate patient care, assess needs, and adjust plans within our nursing model.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years in the Emergency Dept, self-scheduling, and the ability to float to assigned regions; eligibility for benefits includes health coverage, retirement plan, tuition reimbursement and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Emergency Dept experience.
• Registered nurse with current license.
• BLS certification or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care as RN Float in the ED setting.
• Assess patient needs, plan and adjust nursing care accordingly.
• Delegate tasks to team members based on guidelines and patient condition.
• Ensure patient safety and provide education to patients and families.
