Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking an RN Float for the ICU Float Pool at night, focused on coordinating patient care and adapting plans under our nursing model.

Requires a minimum of 4 years ICU experience, RN license, BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days), and self-scheduling with shifts across Lakeway, Marble Falls, Austin Oakhill and Buda facilities. This role offers regional training and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or have equivalent RN experience.
• RN license is required to practice.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of starting.
• Two years of ICU nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe place for patients, families, and staff; assist with emotional and physical relief.
• Educate patients, families, and the community on health matters.
• Evaluate and document learning progress and outcomes.
• Work with the team to implement care plans and delegate tasks as needed.
