Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health is hiring for PRN ED Float Pool Nights. The RN will self-schedule, float to assigned regions as needed, and participate in a rotating 3-shift cycle every 6 weeks with holidays. Experience in Emergency Dept and an active RN license are required.

Position focuses on coordinating patient care using the nursing model, with emphasis on safety, care planning, and patient outcomes. Benefits and support are available, with opportunities to train for regional float

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or have two years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan personalized nursing care.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for outcomes.
• Create a safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Educate patients, families, and community on health matters.
• Delegating interventions to team members per guidelines and patient needs.
