Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Health is hiring for PRN ED Float Pool Nights. The RN will self-schedule, float to assigned regions as needed, and participate in a rotating 3-shift cycle every 6 weeks with holidays. Experience in Emergency Dept and an active RN license are required.

Position focuses on coordinating patient care using the nursing model, with emphasis on safety, care planning, and patient outcomes. Benefits and support are available, with opportunities to train for regional float

Qualifications

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program or have two years of nursing experience.
  • Registered Nurse license is required.
  • BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Baylor Scott and White is Now Hiring PRN ED Float Pool Nights
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the Emergency Dept
  • 3 shifts per 6 week self-scheduling cycle, including 1 major and 1 minor holiday per year
  • Southwest regions floats to: Buda and also Lakeway, Marble Falls, Austin Oakhill

  • Will float to assigned region, but there is option to train and float to other regions to increase hours available

Job Summary

As an RN Float, you are vital in healthcare, coordinating patient care based on our nursing model. You assess patients, plan personalized care, and evaluate responses to health issues. You keep patients safe by understanding their needs and the healthcare setting for smoother transitions. You delegate interventions to team members based on guidelines, patient condition, and team abilities. Your professionalism and experience help you make important recommendations that impact patient outcomes.
