Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Pensacola, Florida is hiring a PRN RN Field Assessor to perform Long Term Care insurance assessments in patients' homes. You will collect demographics, physician information, med lists, and evaluate functional independence.

The role requires staying tech‑savvy to document in a real‑time point‑of‑care system on a laptop or tablet, conduct brief cognitive screenings, and assess ADLs/IADLs while maintaining patient-centered care. This is a field-based role with variable hours.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to dependable transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation irrespective of client background.

Responsibilities

• Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments and collect claimant demographics, physician information, and medication lists.
• Evaluate claimant functional level of independence and perform brief cognitive screening.
• Assess ADL/IADL performance and document in real time using a point-of-care system.
