Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a PRN RN Field Assessor in Alexandria, VA to perform Long Term Care insurance assessments. You will collect demographics, physician data, and a current med list, while evaluating functional independence and cognitive status.

The role requires comfort with a field-based workflow on laptop or tablet in real time. The ideal candidate is a licensed RN, holds a valid driver's license, CPR certification and can navigate diverse home environments.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance and access to dependable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of client characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Complete Long Term Care insurance assessments for claimants.
• Obtain claimant demographics, physician information and current medications.
• Evaluate claimant's functional level of independence and perform brief cognitive screening.
