Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an RN for its 24‑hour Emergency Department within the Green Health and Wellness Center. This PRN caregiver position provides flexible days with a 48‑hour work period over six weeks, delivering high‑quality care with board‑certified physicians across adult and pediatric patients.

As an ED RN, you will assess, implement, and monitor care, coordinate disciplines, and support discharge planning while pursuing ongoing education to grow clinical nursing skills

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS within one year of hire.
• TNCC (adult) or ENPC (pediatric) within 24 months of starting in ED.
• Two years of related nursing experience for external applicants.
• Internal applicants with <2 years may be considered with CNO approval.
• Military RN experience may be considered.

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Coordinate all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
