Job summary
Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals is seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab to deliver compassionate care in a high-acuity environment in Dallas, TX. Ideal candidates will have acute care experience and TX RN licensure, with ACLS/BLS credentials.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s within 24 months if hired after 6/1/12.
- Current TX RN licensure or compact license.
- Current BLS from ARC or AHA.
- ACLS within 1 year of hire.
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience; Cath Lab experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments following standards and protocols.
- Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff.
- Deliver education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Supervise invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures with aseptic technique.
