Job summary

Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will participate in diagnostic and interventional procedures as monitor or circulator, provide direct patient care, administer medications, and prepare patients for exams.

Responsibilities include documentation, team interaction, and staff education. The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), a minimum of two years in Critical Care/ER or Cath Lab, and Texas RN license with

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years’ Critical Care/ER or Cath Lab experience required.
• Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Texas RN license required; BLS and ACLS from approved vendor.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cath Lab as monitor or circulator.
• Provides individual nursing care.
• Administers medications, starts IVs, operates equipment as needed.
• Prepares patients for examination.
• Documents appropriate information.
• Interacts with patients and physicians.
• Assists with orientation/education of new Cath Lab staff.
• Maintains staff competency checks and scheduling of in-services.
• Assists with performance improvement and related duties.
