Medical City Las Colinas seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiovascular Cath Lab. The role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, planning and evaluating care plans, and supervising nursing staff within the RN scope of practice.

You will provide education and emotional support to patients and families, and oversee invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures with strict aseptic technique. Cardiology services emphasize early detection and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• RN licensure with active State RN license.
• An Associate Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments per standards of care and protocols.
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope and policy.
• Provide education and emotional support and include patient/family teaching in practice.
• Supervise invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures ensuring aseptic technique.
