Job summary

Medical City Healthcare is seeking a Cath Lab RN to support diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab and related labs. The nurse will act as monitor or circulator, administer meds, start IVs, prepare patients, and document clinical information.

Requirements include RN licensure, an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and ACLS/BLS certs to be obtained within 30 days. One year of experience, with cath lab exposure preferred, is desired.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• 1 year of experience in a related area; cath lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab as monitor or circulator
• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications, start IVs, and prepare patients for examinations
• document information and assist with staff orientation, education and competency checks
• support performance improvement activities and related duties as assigned
