National EMR is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to administer tests and treatments, maintain equipment, and collaborate with medical staff. This reservist role supports incident response with flexible deployments, potentially on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum 3 years’ experience required; CRT certification is mandatory. ICS/NIMS training is required and must be completed within specified timelines.

Qualifikationen

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• Current CRT certificate required; must not be barred from working in any state.
• Preferred: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Required: three years’ experience as a respiratory therapist.
• Experience with pediatric and adult respiratory therapy preferred.

Aufgaben

• Understand and adhere to National EMR policies and procedures.
• Foster safety culture and report hazards to chain of command.
• Maintain active status in agency platforms and complete training as directed.
• Administer respiratory tests and treatment to clients.
• Clean and sterilize respiratory therapy equipment and perform maintenance.
• Collaborate with physicians, APP, RN, LVN, or Pharmacy as needed.
• Update respiratory protocols and procedures with Medical Services Division.
• Consult with RN Manager/Clinic Director on policy and procedure issues.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results for treatment planning.
• Administer inhalants and operate ventilators and aerosol generators.
• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist with breathing exercises.
• Evaluate progress and adjust therapy plans with physicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
