Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care, ventilator management, and comprehensive patient assessment in critical settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment and adherence to protocols.

The therapist will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, perform airway procedures, and contribute to quality initiatives while mentoring students and staff.

Formación

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, along with customer service abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Administers ventilator management and airway procedures (e.g., intubation, tracheostomy care).
• Conducts patient assessments and collaborates with care teams to develop plans.
• Participates in invasive/non-invasive procedures, pulmonary testing, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Ensures safety through accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.

The role involves delivering complex patient care, especially in critical care settings, with significant independent decision-making and protocol adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Administers aerosolized medications, manages ventilators, and performs airway procedures such as intubation and tracheostomy care.
• Conducts patient assessments, collaborates with healthcare teams to develop care plans, and educates patients and families.
• Participates in invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary testing, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentors new staff, students, and peers, fostering a supportive environment.
• Ensures safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and promoting evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Certifications: NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Professional, BLS, and ACLS.
