Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT or RCP.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare databases.

Responsibilities

• Delivering patient-centered respiratory treatments, including medication, oxygen, and airway management.
• Managing ventilators, conducting Weaning protocols, and performing arterial blood gas analysis.
• Providing education to patients, families, and new staff, and mentoring peers and students.
• Ensuring safety through accurate documentation, adherence to protocols, and participation in performance improvement.
• Assisting with invasive and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Promoting evidence-based practice and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
