Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in complex settings, with primary focus in critical care areas. You will independently manage ventilators, perform airway procedures, and assess patients, collaborating with care teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an associate or bachelor’s in RT, NBRC-RRT and BLS/ACLS, with 0–2 years experience and at least 6 months in critical care.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC-RRT, Respiratory Care Prof, BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with healthcare computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, documentation, and education.
• Perform assessments, ventilator management, airway procedures, and pulmonary testing.
• Verify orders and administer medications and therapies.
• Mentor new staff, students, and peers.
• Promote a safe environment and adherence to policies and standards.
