Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

The role requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, BLS certification (within 30 days of hire), and unit-specific certifications as needed. Mercy supports a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification; within 30 days of hire.
• Unit-specific certifications such as ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for assigned patients' care.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
