SOUTHERN HEALTH PARTNERS INC is seeking PRN RN or LPN for Cabarrus County Jail in Concord, NC. The role requires 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling to support facility needs.

You will provide patient-centered nursing care in a correctional setting and administer medications according to orders. Current NC RN or LPN license, strong communication and documentation skills, and a commitment to quality patient care are essential.

Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our PRN nursing team at Cabarrus County Jail!

What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established protocols.
• Assess patient needs, monitor health conditions, and respond to changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to promote patient safety and continuity of care.
• Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment.

Make Your Schedule Work for You

• Work 12-hour shifts based on facility scheduling and coverage needs.
• Availability for night shifts is required, but PRN opportunities are not limited to nights.
• Use online scheduling tools to view available shifts and communicate your availability in advance.
• PRN team members are asked to provide at least four available dates each month.
• Communicate holiday availability in advance whenever possible.
• Provide reliable coverage for all accepted and scheduled shifts.
• Scheduling needs vary based on facility size, staffing model, and coverage requirements. Full-time and part-time schedules receive priority.
