Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) for the Coronary Care Unit in Lewiston, Maine. Shifts available are Days, with 12‑week assignment length under a flexible PRN schedule.

Pay ranges from $52.00 to $60.00 per hour, gross per shift, with weekly compensation. Requirements include active Maine RN license, BLS and ACLS, and CCU experience preferred. BVP cert within 6 months of hire is required.

• Active RN license in the state of Maine or applicable state.
• BLS (AHA) certification at hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification at hire and maintained.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year nursing in acute care; CCU experience preferred.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) cert within 6 months of hire and maintained.

• Implements care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conduct patient and family rounding to improve experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Minimum six months to one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $52.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
