Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role requires CCU experience, a valid RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with Behavioral Violence Prevention training within 6 months of hire.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring care quality, managing staffing, coaching staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining optimal patient safety and experience on the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license is required in the state of practice.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; CCU experience required.
• BVP certification within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conduct patient and family rounding to improve the patient experience.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provide direct patient care to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Support daily unit operations and communicate care or safety concerns.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; assist with performance management.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with departments to support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversee nursing staff and patient care during the shift.

Pay: up to $624 – $720 gross pay per shift ; equivalent to $52.00 – $60.00 per hour.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid state RN
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
• Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $52.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
