Job summary

Las Cruces Recovery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to deliver clinical nursing care onsite in Las Cruces, NM. The role includes supervising LPNs and CNAs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring safe administration of medications in a behavioral health setting.

The RN will collaborate with the treatment team, participate in therapy groups as appropriate, and complete accurate documentation and handoffs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with RN licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric or addiction recovery environments preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required; first aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to clients and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and staff on assigned unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual plans of care.
• Administer medications with accurate identification and documentation.
• Document assessments, progress, and hand off care to oncoming staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and notify supervisors of changes in condition.
