Las Cruces Recovery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide nursing care to clients in a secure, behavioral health setting in Las Cruces, NM. The RN will supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs, implement individualized care plans, and ensure accurate documentation and patient safety.

The role requires an active RN license and preferable experience in behavioral health; on-site position with a comprehensive benefit plan and competitive compensation per shift.

Qualificações

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within an acute psychiatric setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of clients, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records.
• Educates clients and families about medications, side effects, and safety.
• Transcribes and reviews provider orders to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Administers medications accurately using at least two patient identifiers.
• Communicates with the treatment team about patient status and care needs.
