Job summary

Las Cruces Recovery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time, on-site role in Las Cruces, New Mexico. You will supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs, develop individualized plans of care, and ensure accurate documentation throughout shifts.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 1+ year of nursing experience, and familiarity with psychotropic medications and behavioral health settings. CPR and de-escalation training are required; on-site residency in Las Cruces may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing (RN).
• 1+ years nursing experience in relevant clinical area preferred.
• Behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate care by evaluating physical and behavioral health needs and creating care plans.
• Monitor client status and communicate findings to providers promptly.
• Transcribe and review provider orders and ensure required elements are present.
• Administer medications with two identifiers and document accordingly.
• Provide hand-off reports and participate in unit activities and team rounds.
