The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN for the Admissions Unit at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Shifts run 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Responsibilities include assessing health problems, documenting vital signs, reviewing medications, and coordinating with physicians for orders. RN licensure in Georgia is required to provide direct nursing care.

Responsabilités

• Assess client health problems and needs, address current and immediate.
• Complete vital signs and document.
• Review and determine the immediate needs i.e. current medications and treatments.
• Evaluate and notify doctor/Psychiatrist for evaluation and implementation of obtain of orders.
• Administer medications as needed.
• Administer nursing care to patients as needed or required.
• May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention and refer to Social Service within the Admission are as needed.
