Job summary

Bradford Health Services in Warrior, Alabama, seeks a PRN Therapist to provide clinical support at our Warrior campus. The role involves psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning for clients with addiction disorders.

Responsibilities include comprehensive documentation, coordination with the clinical team and payers, and applying 12-Step principles to treatment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field required.
• Professional licensure is required. If not, must qualify to apply for ALC, LPC, LMSW, LICSW, or LMFT licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral health management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse client populations.
• If recovering, three years of continuous sobriety

Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment
• Evaluate and integrate assessment findings into a clinical summary
• Transform issues into treatment plans with goals and interventions
• Document patient’s clinical course of treatment in progress notes
• Manage caseload and treatment delivery responsibilities professionally
• Conduct individual counseling sessions for addictive disorders
• Conduct group therapy sessions for addictive disorders
• Contribute to discharge summaries and treatment planning
• Integrate 12-Step Program principles into therapy
