Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, plan interventions, and support quality of life goals.

This position typically schedules 8–16 hours per week and is onsite. You will educate the health care team, adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, collaborate with dining service and nutrition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition required (before 2024).
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.
• Passed the CDR national examination or eligible per academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing and updating continuous quality improvement programs.
