Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation is required.
• National Certification from the National Council on Therapeutic Recreation Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administers comprehensive clinical services to patients; provides testing, analyses and evaluations and formulates treatment plans.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Communicates with the patient care team, patient, family and others involved in care; responds to professional inquiries.
• Plans treatment schedules and develops measurable, goal‑oriented treatment plans.
• Provides direct patient care and collaborates with team to ensure high-quality services.
