Job summary

St. David's Surgical Hospital in North Austin is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will perform radiographic procedures across ER, surgical, and portable settings, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging under ARRT/TMB guidelines.

The role requires an Associate Degree in radiologic technology, Texas license and ARRT registration, and BLS. You will participate in call rotations and operate RIS/PACS systems, delivering compassionate patient care in a

Qualifications

Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent program.
Texas Medical Board licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

Perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic and portable radiographs.
Operate radiography equipment and imaging accessories to complete procedures.
Select appropriate protocols to obtain desired results.
Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Document information seen during exams and relay to physicians.
Follow radiation safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure.
Provide patient care and opt for safety during exams.
Operate Meditech, PACS and related systems.
