Job summary

St. David's Surgical Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join the imaging team in North Austin. The role involves performing radiographic procedures across ER, surgical, fluoroscopic, and portable settings, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, a TMB license, ARRT registration, and BCLS certification. This position is part-time as-needed (PRN) and integrates with our comprehensive imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by JRCERT or AMA-approved program.
• Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic and portable radiographs.
• Operate radiography equipment and imaging accessories to perform procedures.
• Follow radiation protection guidelines to minimize patient and staff exposure.
• Document findings on images or in writing; relay relevant information to physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and provide optimum patient care during exams.
