Job summary

St. Davids Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a PRN Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with strict adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. You will produce diagnostic images, interpret orders, and assist radiologists while maintaining patient care and professional ethics.

The role requires collaboration with the imaging team and accurate patient preparation. The position emphasizes high-quality image acquisition, equipment proficiency, and patient safety throughout

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic radiologic procedures.
• Demonstrate technique to produce optimal study.
• Operate equipment including fluoro, c-arm, Tomo, portable units.
• Interpret physician orders to ensure optimal study.
• Assist radiologist with procedures and maintain sterile technique.
• Prepare patients and ensure safety throughout exams.
