Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for PRN coverage in the Charlotte area, with assignments at Randolph Rd, Charlotte or Poplar Tent, Concord. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams under the Radiologist, ensure patient safety, and document histories and identifications.

Eligible candidates have formal Radiology training, ARRT certification, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program (AMA Approved).
• 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• ARRT registration required or registry-eligible and registered within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures as required.
• Documents patient history on requisitions per physician instructions.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as needed.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as required.
• Operates radiographic equipment and positions patients accurately.
• Maintains required records per department standards.
