Advocate Health Care in Concord, NC is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist (PRN) to perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians and assist in maintaining patient records. The role requires ARRT registry within 6 months, AMA approved Radiologic Technology training, and BLS certification.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work 4–5 shifts in a 6-week period is needed. The position offers pay in the range of $26.55 to $39.85 per hour and includes on-call and shift premiums as part of

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program completed.
• Current ARRT registry required or obtainable within 6 months.
• 1 year radiology experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must maintain current certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians.
• Perform routine exams per department SOP.
• Check requisitions for physician notes or instructions.
• Consult with Radiologist or physician as necessary.
• Select proper technical factors on a per-patient basis.
• Operate equipment as directed by exam requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Obtain specimens and perform certain diagnostic lab tests as ordered.
• Prepare specimens for transport to lab facilities.

Ausbildung

AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program

Current ARRT registry

1 year experience preferred
