Job summary

USPI Aloe Surgical Center is seeking a Radiology Tech for a PRN schedule to join a fast paced ambulatory surgical center. The Radiology Technologist will perform radiographic studies in a busy environment, including OR, trauma, pediatric and GI imaging, while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate will be ARRT certified, licensed in the state, CPR/ALS certified, and have at least one year of intra-operative radiology experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• ARRT certification and active state license required.
• CPR/ALS certifications required.
• Experience in intra-operative radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs per physician instructions.
• Position patients and explain procedures while ensuring radiation safety.
• Administer IV contrast and perform specialized radiologic studies as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and report changes to radiology lead.
• Collaborate with radiology team and radiologist to meet quality standards.
