Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a PRN Radiology Student in Logan, Utah. You are in your final radiology semester and will work varied 12-hour shifts, gaining hands-on imaging experience under supervision to build essential skills and confidence before graduation.

You will assist with exams, follow safety protocols, and learn to communicate clearly with patients and families while developing imaging proficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently in the last semester of Radiology School.
• Licensure as a Practical Radiologic Technologist/Limited Scope Operator or ARRT Board Registry Eligible as required by the state.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Competency in Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, or DEXA imaging.
• Imaging exams must be performed only when licensed for the specific exam.
• Successful completion of required skills testing and competency review.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient ID, verify orders, and prepare patients for imaging exams.
• Provide compassionate care and address patient needs.
• Explain procedures to patients and families to reduce anxiety.
• Address patient concerns and maintain safety during imaging.
• Perform radiologic exams to produce quality images while following protocols and radiation protection.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Pursue education and career development opportunities.
