Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist assistant to support imaging teams in performing diagnostic procedures and preparing patients for exams. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

The position is part-time with shifts on Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 to 16:30, offering an hourly wage between $18.40 and $23.92 and access to Intermountain's benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• BLS for Caregivers required.
• Preferred: CNA certification, patient care or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs while in their care.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
• Transports patients to and from the Imaging department, while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass off.
