Job summary

Intermountain Health Logan Regional Hospital in Utah is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support imaging teams. You will help prepare patients for exams, ensure comfort and safety, and coordinate patient flow under the technologist's supervision.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting on/off tables, and IV insertion if qualified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Caregivers required.
• CNA certification preferred/provided as site requirement.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assists in preparing the patient for the exam and is sensitive to their needs while in their care.
• Assists patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
• Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other patient care providers following procedure.
• Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
