Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty ARRT certifications if required.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification before start date with validity through hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician’s orders and scheduling; educates patient about procedures and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope; monitors patient and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment; sets exposure factors; performs quality control; troubleshoots equipment issues.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and ensures image quality; transmits images.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and works effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
