Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) where required.
• State licensure as applicable by law.
• BLS/CPR certification with card valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; schedules and informs patients about procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope; monitors patient status.
• Prepares equipment; sets exposure factors and imaging parameters; performs quality control.
• Positions patient; performs imaging; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Works with students; maintains safety and operates with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
