Job summary

UCHealth UCHlth Yampa Valley Med Center in Steamboat Springs, CO, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting. This onsite role requires ARRT CT certification and RT licensure, with patient safety and quality imaging at the core.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, preparing patients, selecting exposure factors, administering contrast when needed, and ensuring accurate reporting of scan results, all while complying with UCHealth

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; schedule exams.
• Educate patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed; monitor patient condition.
• Set exposure factors and imaging parameters; perform imaging procedures.
• Ensure safety standards; perform quality control; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results; work in fast-paced environment.
