Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for Bunkie HomeCare in Louisiana. You will perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving well-being under the supervising PT, following the established plan of care.

Responsibilities include following state laws, aiding exercises, recording responses, coordinating care with the healthcare team, and educating patients and families in therapy areas.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice physical therapy in LA.
• CPR certification on file.
• Own reliable transportation or access to a vehicle.
• Weekend rotation availability.
• Ability to work in diverse home settings.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and supervise care per PT guidance.
• Instructs and assists with active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Record patient responses and coordinate with the care team.
• Educate patient, family, and caregivers on therapy activities.
