SHC WVUHS Home Care seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy services across different patients in the Uniontown area and surrounding communities. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and coordinate with the supervising physical therapist.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state where services are performed.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs PTA duties per the physical therapist's plan.
• Provides care across age groups per established criteria.
• Assesses and reports changes in patient condition.
• Obtains pulses, BP, and respiration rate.
• Delivers therapeutic exercises as prescribed by the PT.
• Operates equipment safely and helps with transfers.
• Educates patients on home programs.
