Job summary

Independence Rehab Inc. in Westminster, CO seeks a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our Park Forest Care Center therapy team. We need 5-10 hours of patient care per week with flexible scheduling and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado PTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• SNF experience preferred (one year ideal), but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gait and mobility retraining.
• Transfer training across all levels of assistance.
• Strengthening, balance, and fall prevention.
• Supporting patients with medically complex conditions.
• Collaborating with the supervising PT on care progression.
• Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery.
