Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking aPRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to perform in-home rehabilitation visits in Marion, OH. You will work under a Physical Therapist to implement individualized plans of care, guide patients through exercises, and monitor progress during home visits.

The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care with flexible PRN scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on recovery and quality of life in patients' homes.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA licensure in the state where the position is located.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Valid state driver's license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to Marion, OH.
• Ability to work independently under the supervising PT's plan of care.
• Home health or clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home PTA visits based on each patient’s care plan under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and ADLs.
• Help improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Observe and document patient responses and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety techniques, and rehab participation.
• Complete accurate documentation per care plans and guidelines.
