Qualifications

• Associate degree required in PTA.
• Computer skills required for Net Health and Point Click Care.

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state and maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per facility/state/third‑party payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment per infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate residents, families and caregivers on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
• Assist nursing with training of Restorative Aides and participate in care conferences.
