Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts to support adolescent mental health care. The RN will provide nursing care on a designated unit, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and participate in treatment planning.

Qualified candidates hold an ADN/ASN with Florida RN licensure; BSN preferred. The role offers shift differentials and opportunities for education, residency training, and career development within UHS network.

Qualifications

• ADN/ASN required for RN licensure in Florida.
• Florida RN license is required.
• Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Must pass Level 2 background screening and pre-employment drug test.
• CPR or BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit following the treatment plan.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care within the multidisciplinary team.
• Initiate restraints or seclusion and assess continuation when needed.
• Assist with charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
