Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for adolescents on a designated unit. The RN will coordinate, delegate, and participate in a multidisciplinary treatment plan consistent with our philosophy and goals.

The role requires Florida RN licensure and an ADN/ASN (Bachelor’s preferred). Qualified candidates may have psychiatric experience and must pass a Level 2 background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida required.
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass Level 2 Background Screening and Pre-employment Drug Test.
• Must be able to read, understand, and follow policies and treatment plans.
• Must have effective communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care as part of the treatment team.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit.
• May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
