Job summary

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts 7 am–7 pm to join a team providing mental health care for adolescents 11–17. The RN will deliver nursing care on a designated unit, coordinate plans with the multidisciplinary team, and be prepared to assume Charge Nurse duties as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, crisis management, and professional nursing practice within a supportive UHS network.

Qualifications

• ADN or ASN required; RN licensure in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care on a designated unit.
• Coordinate and delegate nursing care within the multidisciplinary treatment plan.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as required.
• Promote and enhance professional nursing practice on the unit.
